COVID-19 Update
At Carolina Eye Prosthetics, our highest priority is the health and safety of our patients. Our team has been closely following guidelines from the CDC, as well as occupational health and safety regulations.
We are now seeing all patients in the office. Virtual evaluations are still available for those who need them.
Keeping You Safe in Our Office
When you come into our office, you can rest assured that we’re doing everything possible to keep you safe. This includes installing additional hand sanitizing stations and disinfecting all common surfaces between every patient visit.
At this time, we are doing everything possible to keep our lobby and waiting area empty. Please help us do so by only bringing one companion with you to your visit. If the patient is a baby or a young child, both parents are welcome to attend the appointment.
When You Arrive
Call our office so we can prepare for your appointment and remain in your vehicle. We will then wave you in and take you directly back to the exam room. As always, snacks and beverages are available, but we have removed them from the common area. If you would like a snack, soda, or coffee, please don’t hesitate to ask! Our faithful greeter Fifi the dog will be out until further notice.
Please reschedule your appointment if:
- You are experiencing flu-like symptoms
- You have traveled internationally in the past three weeks
- You have recently been hospitalized
According to the CDC, if you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms of respiratory illness, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call your healthcare professional to discuss getting tested.
