Keep your artificial eyes or corneal scleral shells in top condition.

A custom eye prosthesis that feels like you, needs care and upkeep like the rest of your body. At times, an artificial eye or corneal scleral shell can feel dry, itchy, and can cause irritation.

Dust particles and dry air can also damage your custom eye. Lubricants can be helpful to keep moisture in, while warding off outside elements that can affect your artificial eye.

We have the following products available to care for your prosthetic eyes:

Sil-Ophtho

A medical grade silicone lubricant made especially for eye prosthesis. It comes in heavy and medium viscosity, depending on what your ocularist recommends.

Sil-Ophtho is also hypoallergenic and long-lasting, helping you wear your artificial eyes comfortably.

All-Natural Lubricant

If you do not prefer a silicone-based lubricant, we have an all-natural lubricant extracted from plants.

Our natural lubricant is made from plant oil and aloe vera. Vitamin E is also an added ingredient, which keeps the skin around your eyes healthy and moisturized.

GenTeal Lubricant Eye Gel

When your corneal scleral shells get exposed to wind and sun, it can also cause dryness, itching, or pain. The GenTeal Lubricant Eye Gel aids in bringing back moisture in your scleral shells.

GenTeal is also safe to use at night, when you are feeling uncomfortable and want lasting relief. It is recommended for patients who are prone to dry eyes, or are living in areas which are less humid.

Zaditor

Allergies can also be an issue when you have sensitive skin, or when elements like pollen get into your eyes. We recommend Zaditor for itchy eyes triggered by allergies.

Zaditor is an antihistamine eye drop which can relieve itching eyes caused by allergies. You can experience relief for up to 12 hours with its prescription-strength formula.
